Technology with direction.

MAARG Technologies is an Indian technology company building AI and hardware systems for the infrastructure people rely on every day.

मार्ग

Maarg means path.

In Sanskrit and Hindi, maarg is the way from one place to another. It is what we work on, and how we want to work: with a clear direction, one step at a time.

Our mark shows the same idea. A road winds through a rising sun towards the horizon, the long view, kept in sight while the next turn is taken with care.

Mission and vision

We exist to build intelligent systems that make everyday infrastructure safer, faster and fairer to use.

We are working towards cities whose roads and services respond to people as things happen, not months later.

Every city is a web of paths. We work on keeping them moving.

Four signs we work by

Each one is a road object, because the road is where our work is judged.

  • Progress you can measure

We agree what success looks like before we build, measure against it, and publish only results we can stand behind.

  • Safety before speed

Systems that touch public roads are designed around failure, privacy and human oversight from the first sketch.

  • Direction over hype

We say plainly what is built, what is in pilot and what is still a plan. Every status on this site follows that rule.

  • Built to coordinate

Open standards, existing equipment and the people already running the roads. We fit into a city rather than replace it.

Where we focus

Traffic is our first product area, not our only one. Here is what we work on today and what comes next.

  • Intelligent transport systems

    Current focus

MAARG Intelligence: adaptive signals, green corridors, incident detection, commuter information and enforcement support.

  • Computer vision

    Current focus

Detection and tracking that hold up in dense, mixed Indian traffic, in rain, dust and at night.

  • Edge hardware and IoT

    Current focus

Controllers, sensors and compute at the roadside, designed to keep working when the network doesn't.

  • Applied AI beyond traffic

    Next

Other infrastructure problems where sensing, prediction and control can make daily life work better.

Where we are on the road

  1. Now

Building MAARG Intelligence: simulation, signal control, computer vision and the operations platform.

  2. Next

First pilot corridors with city and police partners, measured against how those roads perform today.

  3. Later

City-scale rollouts, and new AI and hardware products for other kinds of infrastructure.

Let's build what moves people.

We work with cities, integrators, researchers and hardware makers. Tell us what you are working on.
